2) Conducted Medical Council of India Platinum Jubilee Celebration CME on  “Microteaching” on 18^th November 2008.  Dr. (Mrs) S. Kantha, Founder of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore was the Chief Guest and the Representatives of MCI in this occasion.

3) Launching New Indian Medical Journal : The Scientific and Research Committee, Al-Ameen Medical College, Bijapur has launched “Al Ameen Journal of Medical Sciences” (ISSN-0974-1143), a peer reviewed Indexed International Biannual Medical Journal.  The first issue has been published on 1-7-2008 and the second issue has been published on 31-12-2008.  This Journal has been Indexed in Indexed Copernicus International, USA, Google.com, Indian Science Abstract and Biosis.

Other Activities : Prof. N. Prabhakar, Professor & Director, Department of Medicine, University of Chicago, USA has delivered Guest Lecture on 15^th December 2007.
