Al-Ameen Women and Children Hospital is situated in the Al-Ameen Medical College campus at Bijapur. This hospital is having two departments, They are
( i) Obstetrics & Gynecology and
(ii) Pediatrics.
This hospital cater the needs of not only the poor and downtrodden people of Bijapur and its neighboring areas but also middle and upper class populations. Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt .of Karnataka has selected this hospital to run Prevention of Parent to children Transmission Diseases program.
This hospital is having it as own sophisticated Operation Theatre with
all the equipments. This hospital also has a modern NICU to take care
of new born babies.
